B100

The B100 is a germanium fuzz based on the Neve B100 preamp card found in the 1053 and similar channel strips that preceded the iconic 1073. Controls for Output, Gain, and Input function as a pseudo-EQ, allowing you to shape the tone from warm smoky overdrive and clean germanium preamp sounds to massive walls of fuzz.

By balancing the Input and Gain controls you can dial in everything from clean preamp warmth to aggressive fuzz saturation. The germanium circuit gives it a vintage, slightly unpredictable character distinct from silicon-based fuzzes.
