Hermida Zendrive

Alfonso Hermida designed the Zendrive to capture Dumble Overdrive Special compression and saturation. Robben Ford tried it and fell in love, using it to get thick Dumble tones through Fender amps.

Hermida worked for NASA before getting into pedals. He originally built these in tiny batches, creating legendary scarcity. Lovepedal took over production in 2018 to make them accessible while retaining the magic.

Volume, Gain, Tone, and Voice controls shape everything from light tube-amp sweetness to saturated sustain. Touch-sensitive response suits blues, jazz, and fusion. One of the most revered boutique overdrives ever made.
