Mach I Distortion
Bogner/Boogie/KittyHawk-style preamp distortion. Thick, punchy mids that cut through any mix.
The Mach I is a preamp-based distortion inspired by the Bogner, Boogie, and KittyHawk gain circuits popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Thick and punchy with plenty of midrange to cut through a mix, loaded with harmonics.
Controls include Level, Drive, Treble, and Bass, plus HDRM and Mids toggle switches. The Bass control is pre-clipping and adds more gain to lower frequencies as it's turned up. The Mids toggle selects between two mid-frequency settings, with an internal trimmer for fine-tuning the boost amount. HDRM provides two levels of headroom.
True bypass. 9V DC, center-negative. Built in Mesa, Arizona.
