Sixty8
1968 Plexi in a box. Gain doubles as shelving EQ to keep bass tight as you crank it.
The Sixty8 captures the character of a 1968 Plexi 12000 series amplifier. Super-low self-noise with natural note decay and sustain, no strange fizzy artifacts. Highly dynamic, it responds to guitar volume and pick attack like the real amp.
The Gain control is cleverly designed as a shelving EQ: as gain increases, low frequencies attenuate slightly to keep your bass tight. The Bass control (pre-clipping) offsets this for full low end if desired. The Treble control completes the tone shaping. Great sustain without excessive distortion, and it cleans up beautifully.
V4 updates include soft-touch true bypass with last-state memory and top-mount jacks. 9-18V DC, 30mA, center-negative. 4.5" x 2.375" x 2", 8 oz.
