Tiny Tap

The Lightning Wave Tiny Tap is an ultra-compact passive tap tempo switch designed to add external tempo control to delay, modulation, and time-based effects without requiring power or permanent installation. Measuring just 1.5" × 1.2" × 1.1" and weighing only 30 grams, it's one of the smallest tap tempo solutions available. The Tiny Tap connects via a 3.5mm mini stereo terminal. With a mono cable, it functions as a normally-open unlatch switch for standard tap tempo operation. Using a stereo cable activates the TIP terminal for compatibility with different switching configurations. The velcro pad on the bottom allows you to attach it directly to pedals that support external tap tempo input—no drilling or modification required. When not in use, it can be easily repositioned or removed. As a fully passive device requiring no batteries or external power, the Tiny Tap draws its operation entirely from the connected pedal, making it an elegant, board-friendly solution
