Electric Blue Chorus

The Electric Blue Chorus was designed as "the chorus for people who don't like chorus." Rather than the wobbly pitch warble that turns many players off, it mixes your dry signal with modulated signal to create the effect of multiple instruments playing together.

The sinewave generator produces gentler, more liquid modulation than square or triangle waves. Blend control mixes wet and dry signals, Depth controls modulation intensity, and Speed adjusts oscillator rate. True bypass ensures clean signal when disengaged.

The circuit achieves chorus by mixing dry signal with vibratoed, delayed signal. This approach sounds more like natural doubling than the seasick pitch wobble of aggressive chorus effects. Works well for subtle thickening or more pronounced swirl.

Standard 9V battery or adapter power. The Electric Blue II successor added bucket-brigade analog processing and a vibrato mode, but this original version remains available for players preferring digital chorus with analog signal path.
