Loud 'n Proud
Marshall-style overdrive with switchable germanium fuzz and 13dB boost. Full preamp/power-amp simulation.
The Loud 'n Proud simulates a full Marshall amplifier signal chain: phase inverter, push-pull output stage, and output transformer, plus a switchable vintage germanium fuzz circuit. The Fuzz/Boost switch selects between the germanium fuzz voicing and a clean 13dB boost.
Seven controls plus two switches provide deep tone shaping: Bass, Middle, and Treble handle preamp EQ. Gain sets distortion amount. Volume controls output. Presence adjusts power-amp-style high-frequency feedback. Fuzz Vol sets the fuzz circuit output. The Character switch toggles between tighter compressed bass (left) and looser maximum dynamics (right).
Input impedance is 500K for distortion/boost modes, dropping to 8K for fuzz mode. Current draw is 27mA at 9V. True bypass switching. Now discontinued.
