Hand-wired Mighty Red Distortion. 80s high-gain circuit with natural decay, Finnish point-to-point build.
The Mighty Red Distortion delivers high-gain tones modeled after compressed '80s distortion. The circuit achieves 62dB of gain with an impressive 96dB signal-to-noise ratio, all without noise gates or expanders. Special low-noise amplifier stages produce natural decay.
Three controls: Volume sets output level, Distortion adjusts gain amount, and Presence controls upper treble without affecting upper midrange. The gain range also handles lower distortion and stacks well with other pedals.
Current draw is 10.6mA at 9V. Runs on 7.5-18V. Hand-wired in Finland with point-to-point construction.
