Sky Blue (Handwired)

The Sky Blue Overdrive was designed to overdrive already-distorted amplifiers or provide light overdrive on clean sounds. The standout feature is the Z control, which creates an adjustable load on your guitar's pickups, shifting the upper resonant peak and changing how the guitar's volume knob interacts with the circuit.

Four controls: Volume sets output level, Distort controls gain amount, Z adjusts input impedance from 227K down to 10K ohms for tonal shaping, and Texture changes how and when the circuit clips while adjusting overall EQ. Texture counterclockwise gives more saturation; clockwise adds treble boost with less compression.

Current draw is 5mA. Runs on 7.5-18V. True bypass switching. Hand-wired in Finland with point-to-point construction. Now discontinued.
