Maxon
Analog Delay AD-9
Delay
The original Maxon analog delay. BBD bucket-brigade circuit that Maxon designed before it became the Ibanez AD9.
The AD9 is Maxon's classic bucket-brigade analog delay, the original that inspired countless clones. The BBD circuit produces warm, dark repeats that sit behind the original signal without competing.
Time, Mix, and Repeat controls dial in everything from slapback to ambient trails. The analog character adds slight degradation to each repeat, creating natural decay.
Japanese engineering with premium components throughout. True bypass switching. The AD9 remains a benchmark for analog delay tone.
