F-Stop
Spring reverb and bias tremolo from 1960s American amp circuits. Analog VCA tremolo, digital reverb, 18V headroom.
The F-Stop packages the two effects most associated with vintage 1960s American tube amplifiers into a single pedalboard-friendly enclosure: spring reverb and pulsating bias-style tremolo. Rather than stacking two separate pedals, it recreates the experience of plugging into a Fender combo and switching on the built-in effects.
The tremolo circuit is 100% analog VCA-based, preserving the swooshing, amplitude-pulsing character of vintage bias tremolo. The reverb uses a digital spring algorithm. Each effect has independent on/off footswitches, and a rear-mounted trim pot adjusts tremolo output level. The guitar signal path stays fully analog throughout. Internally, the circuit converts 9V to 18V for extended headroom, keeping the signal clean even at the front of a gain-heavy chain.
Runs on standard 9V DC center-negative at 200mA. 5" x 3.5" x 2.25", weighing 1 lb. Available in black and white finishes. Handmade in San Francisco.
