The Black Secret packs a Pro Co Rat-style circuit into Mooer's micro enclosure. The Vintage/Turbo switch toggles between the original Rat's LM308 voicing and the more aggressive Turbo Rat character.
Three knobs: Distortion, Filter, and Level mirror the original Rat layout. The Filter works as a low-pass control, rolling off highs as you turn it down. The circuit nails the fuzzy, harmonically rich distortion that made the Rat a studio staple.
