The Carbon Copy established itself as the modern go-to analog delay since its introduction. Using bucket-brigade device (BBD) chips, it delivers 600ms of warm, organic delay with that characteristic analog degradation as repeats fade.

Three external controls: Delay sets time up to 600ms, Mix balances wet and dry, Regen controls feedback. Two internal trim pots adjust modulation width and rate, adding optional chorus-like movement to the repeats.

Unlike digital delays with pristine repeats, the BBD technology creates progressively darker, more diffuse echoes. This vintage-style character blends naturally with guitar tone rather than sitting on top of it. The warmth suits everything from slapback to ambient washes.
