The Sugar Drive Mini delivers Klon-style overdrive in compact format. The internal charge pump boosts voltage to 18V, providing the headroom and touch sensitivity that define this style of transparent overdrive. Three controls: Gain, Level, Tone. The circuit captures that Klon character: clean at low gain, adding compression and harmonic enhancement as gain increases, always responsive to picking dynamics. The charge pump addresses the headroom limitations of 9V operation, delivering the voltage swing that gives Klon-style circuits their dynamic range. The mini format fits tight pedalboards without sonic compromise. True bypass switching. Top-mounted jacks save space.
