Mjolnir V2
Klon-style overdrive with less gain, less mid honk, more low-end. Buffered bypass, no charge pump.
The Mjolnir Overdrive is Mythos' take on the iconic "Horsey-Man" circuit with deliberate modifications: less gain, reduced mid honk, and more low-end push. The recent revision removed the charge pump for improved reliability and smoother clipping characteristics—a controversial choice that prioritizes sonic performance over headroom specs.
Three controls handle operation: Gain (dual-ganged pot blending clean and drive signals), Treble (high-end shaping), and Output (volume level). The buffered bypass improves signal quality on long cable runs—essential for large pedalboards. Input impedance: 1MΩ, output impedance: 1kΩ.
Dimensions: 4.82" L × 2.62" W × 1.43" H with mono in/out and high-quality panel-mount jacks for road durability. Draws approximately 25mA. The Mjolnir isn't trying to be a clone—it's a refined interpretation that trades extreme gain for musical response and practical performance.
