Maestro Brassmaster workalike with full-wave rectifier octave-up. Split clean/fuzz signal paths.

The Brass Fuzz is a Maestro Bass Brassmaster / Malekko B:assmaster workalike with split-path architecture. High-gain silicon transistor fuzz feeds a full-wave rectifier and transformer for an octave-up effect. The clean signal (slightly lowpassed) mixes with the fuzz signal at the output.

Clean and Fuzz knobs balance the two paths. Drive sets fuzz gain. The Harm switch selects phase/feedback for tonal variation. Brass tunes a twin-T filter resonance peak. Available in silicon and germanium versions. 10mA draw, 9V DC center-negative.
