Robins

The Robins is a saturated riff-driving op-amp distortion with a Fender-style tone stack (Bass, Mid, Treble). The name and robin-egg blue colorway hint at its inspiration: Hum's "You'd Prefer an Astronaut."

Designed for heavy 90s alt-rock tones with an intentionally sizzling top end. An internal hi-cut dipswitch tames brightness on brighter rigs. Despite the specific inspiration, it covers a surprising range of distortion sounds.

Handwired, true bypass, 9V DC center-negative only. Hand-finished enclosure.
