Paint Audio designed the MIDI Captain as a comprehensive MIDI foot controller compatible with Fractal, Kemper, Quad Cortex, and virtually any MIDI-equipped device.
10 fully customizable footswitches send PC, CC, and Note messages. Normal Mode offers 2 commands per switch (press/release). Geek Mode expands to 12 commands per switch. 16 banks of 8 switches with 99 total configuration pages.
Time Engine function records and plays back footswitch sequences for automated performance. Two expression pedal inputs. Optional 2.4G wireless module (lower latency than Bluetooth) pairs with MIDI Mate adapters.
Flexible power: 9V DC (300mA minimum), USB, or battery. No polarity concerns. Pro versions (Blue/Gold) include wireless; STD (Black) version without.
