A germanium Fuzz Face using hand-selected NOS 2N404 transistors housed in ultra-rare Mullard Gold Saucer cans dated December 1965. These specific transistors deliver a woodier, thicker voice than their silicon counterpart, with all the vintage sag and compression that germanium is known for.

Crank the Fuzz for full-fat vintage saturation or dial it back for a smoother, Plexi-inspired character that responds to every nuance of your picking. Like all Fuzz Faces, it's highly interactive with your guitar's volume knob. Each unit is hand serial-numbered.

Handcrafted in the UK with true bypass. Limited Purple Peace sparkle edition ran just 120 units. As the supply of genuine 1965 Mullard Gold Saucer transistors dwindles, these become increasingly scarce.
