Reuss from Denmark built the Copenhagen Bender as a Tonebender Mark 1.5 using carefully selected vintage germanium transistors.

NOS US-made KRC OC140 germanium transistors (NPN equivalents to PNP OC75/OC81) deliver authentic 1960s fuzz tone. The NPN design allows standard negative-ground power - no isolated supply needed.

Sound sits between a mellow Fuzz Face and the stronger bite of a Tonebender Mk II. 2022 revision adds output recovery stage for more volume and buffer for consistent output impedance.
