The Saturnworks Compact Looper (Horizontal) is simple, reliable single-loop true bypass switcher designed to turn any pedal or group of pedals on and off with a single footswitch. This horizontal orientation version features side-mounted jacks that run parallel to the enclosure, making it ideal for pedalboards where space constraints or cable routing requirements favor horizontal layout over traditional vertical configurations.
As a passive switcher, the Compact Looper requires no power to function (though LED indicator versions draw 8mA from 9V DC supply). When engaged, the pedal routes your signal through the effects loop created by its send and return jacks. When bypassed, it routes the signal directly from input to output, completely removing the effects in the loop from your signal path with true bypass switching. This ensures zero tone coloration or signal degradation when the loop is disengaged.
Compact Looper is particularly useful for isolating problematic pedals that don't have true bypass, grouping multiple effects together for simultaneous switching, or simply adding footswitch control to pedals that lack it.
