Buffer Fuzz Interface
Intelligent fuzz loop with buffer and cable length emulator, solving the impedance sensitivity of vintage germanium fuzzes.
The Shnobel Tone Buffer Fuzz Interface solves one of pedalboard design's most frustrating challenges: making vintage-style germanium fuzzes play nice with modern setups. Most Fuzz Face-style circuits are extremely sensitive to what's in front of them—buffers kill their response, and cable length dramatically affects their tone.
This intelligent pedal features a dedicated fuzz loop where you can place your impedance-sensitive fuzz pedals. When engaged, the input signal bypasses the buffer entirely, sending your guitar's raw signal directly to the fuzz. A toggle switch selects emulated cable length after the fuzz, letting you dial in the high-frequency taper that shapes vintage fuzz tones.
When disengaged, the signal routes through the high-quality Class A buffer to protect the rest of your chain. It's the elegant solution for running beloved vintage fuzz circuits in complex modern pedalboards.
