The Ratatouille is Shnobel Tone's take on the legendary Pro Co RAT circuit, inspired by 1980s units but featuring an entirely original circuit design. It delivers amp-like distortion rich with harmonics and touch sensitivity—responding to your playing dynamics like a cranked tube amp.

At lower gain settings, the Ratatouille provides great crunch tones perfect for classic rock and blues-rock. Push the gain to maximum and you'll find sounds reminiscent of a tube amp pushed to its absolute limits, approaching fuzz territory while maintaining note definition.

True to its RAT heritage, the Ratatouille's Filter control provides dramatic tone shaping from bright and cutting to dark and wooly. This is distortion with genuine amp-like feel, not just clipping transistors.
