Released in late 2024, Chug Tuner+ is marketed as "world's most useful and feature-packed stage tuner," combining precision tuning, boost, EQ, buffering, and signal splitting into single pedal optimized for professional stage and studio use. Tuner section delivers ±1-cent accuracy with super-fast response and large, bright display designed for stage visibility. Drop tune modes are easily accessed, and tuner can be configured to operate continuously even when unmuted, or only engage when signal is muted—accommodating different workflow preferences.
Boost/EQ section is foot-switchable and provides healthy +20dB of clean gain. High-pass filter can be bypassed completely or set to two carefully selected frequencies: 720Hz for classic Tube Screamer-style boost character, or 1kHz for Klon-type transparent boost sound. This versatility makes Tuner+ function as three distinct boost pedals in one: clean boost, TS-style mid-focused boost, or Klon-style transparent boost.
Buffered signal is intelligently split to both outputs, with Output 2 offering option to bypass Boost/EQ section entirely and featuring ground lift switch to solve AC noise issues caused by ground loops when running multiple amplifiers or recording setups. This makes Tuner+ ideal for simple amp-plus-DI recording, multi-amp rigs, or wet/dry configurations. Input impedance is 1MΩ with output impedance under 2.5kΩ, ensuring optimal tone preservation. However, it's important to note that this is dual output splitter, not true A/B/Y switcher—both outputs are active simultaneously rather than selectable.
