The Beta DLX captures the warmth and grind of classic Ampeg bass amps in an extended preamp format. Designed specifically for bass guitar with extended low-frequency response throughout.
Drive ranges from subtle grit to warm overdrive while maintaining low-end definition. The active 2-band EQ provides boost and cut of highs and lows with flat center response. A low-pass filter toggle offers mid bump, mid scoop, or bypass settings.
Level control sets output volume. The circuit accepts 9-18V DC for adjustable headroom at higher voltages. True bypass switching with top-mounted jacks. Hand-made in Montreal for bass players who need Ampeg-inspired tones.
