Ictenio

The Ictineo (pronounced "Ik-tin-ee-oh") is Southampton's remake of a classic and near-impossible-to-find bass preamp. It works equally well on guitar, bass, keys, and anything else you can plug in, functioning as an always-on tone-shaping tool.

Body and Tone controls fine-tune midrange and high end. Three switchable frequency options—600 Hz boost, 1 kHz boost, and 250 Hz dip—let you carve out your specific frequency range. The Ultrabass switch enhances low-end frequencies for bass players. Volume and Boost provide generous level control.
