Meridian
BBD time modulator using MN3007 chip. 0.8-50ms delay for chorus, vibrato, flange, and doubling.
The Meridian is a flexible analog modulator built around a 1024-stage MN3007 bucket brigade delay. Delay time from 0.8ms to 50ms produces liquid chorus, true pitch-shifting vibrato, wispy phasing, shimmering flange, static comb filtering, and double-tracking.
Three LFO waveshapes include Sine (preferred for vibrato and Leslie effects), Triangle (standard for chorus/flange), and Flux (wobbly, unpredictable with skips and jumps). Rate ranges from 8-second sweeps to 65ms cycles.
Mix and Volume controls with up to 6dB boost. Regen (feedback) and Time controls add tone-shaping flexibility. CV/EXP options for Rate, Width, and delay time. True-bypass relay switching. Current draw 58mA engaged. Hand-wired in Portland, Oregon.
