Lex

The Lex recreates the complete rotary speaker system: bass rotor, treble horn, tube amplifier, and the complex acoustic interactions between them. Adjustable microphone placement shapes the phase cancellation and comb filtering that define the rotary sound.

Two speed modes—Slow and Fast—capture the characteristic acceleration and deceleration as the rotors change speed. The Preamp control adds tube amplifier saturation from clean to overdriven. Horn and Rotor balance lets you emphasize the swirling highs or the churning lows.

Stereo outputs enable the immersive spread that makes rotary speakers magical in a mix. The Lex captures nuances that simpler rotary pedals miss, delivering the dimensional movement that the original cabinets created.
