Uni-Vibe recreation with three modes, adjustable bias, and full MIDI control for authentic rotary speaker modulation.
The UltraViolet recreates the photocell-based modulation of the original Shin-Ei Uni-Vibe with three operating modes: Chorus (50/50 wet/dry), Vibrato (100% wet), and Blend (70/30 for subtle movement). Bias control adjusts the sweep center frequency across Low, Mid, and High ranges.
The Low Bias setting produces pulsing tremolo-like character; Mid delivers classic sought-after vibe tones; High creates smoother, wider sweeps. Speed and Intensity knobs dial in everything from subtle throb to dramatic warble.
Full MIDI implementation with 300 preset locations via TRS or USB-C. Expression input controls Speed by default but can be assigned to any parameter combination. The UltraViolet captures the organic, liquid modulation that defined psychedelic rock.
