Fuzz
Authentic recreation of 1960s Supro amplifier fuzz circuit using germanium transistors for warm, vintage-voiced fuzz tones with starved-voltage character.
The Supro 1304 Fuzz is faithful recreation of fuzz circuit found in vintage 1960s Supro amplifiers, which were among the first American guitar amps to feature built-in fuzz effects. This circuit design uses germanium transistors running at starved voltage to produce warm, vintage-voiced fuzz tones characteristic of that golden era. Rather than creating modern high-gain fuzz, prioritizes classic 60s texture and responsiveness.
Features Volume, Fuzz, and Tone controls providing straightforward interface for dialing in everything from light fuzz coloration to full vintage saturation. Tone control offers both low-pass and band-pass filtering on single knob. Three-position MODE switch provides additional tonal versatility: THICK mode for fuller low-end, NORMAL for classic balanced response, and THIN for cutting treble emphasis. TRS expression pedal port allows real-time control of Fuzz parameter during performance.
Like all Supro pedals, built in Port Jefferson, New York, with true bypass switching and custom anodized aluminum enclosure. Accepts 9-18VDC power. Delivers authentic vintage American fuzz tones that capture spirit of psychedelic rock and blues-rock from 1960s.
