Comp-Nova

The Comp-Nova was created after T-Rex tested every compressor on the market and found none offered their signature finely-crafted tone. Based on the Blackmer VCA design, it delivers transparent compression without sacrificing natural dynamics.

Three controls provide intuitive operation: Comp sets compression amount, Attack shapes the transient response and threshold simultaneously, and Volume adjusts output with unity at noon and up to 3dB boost available. The clean sound exhibits no low-end loss, mid humps or scoops.

High frequencies roll off in a mild slope rather than harsh cutoff. Very subtle and transparent even at full sustain, making it ideal for blues and jazz. Works with electric guitars and bass guitars alike. Standard 1/4" connections with 9V DC power or battery operation.
