Reptile

The Reptile is an analog tape echo simulator that doesn't use digital modeling, producing softly repeating delays with authentic character. Delay times reach up to about one second, unusual for vintage-style emulators.

Seven knobs and two switches control the effect: Delay time, Repeats, Echo (mix), and Level for main parameters. The Flutter section adds tape-style warble with Speed, Width, and Tone controls for authentic retro modulation. Level provides unity to +3dB boost.

True bypass circuitry preserves tone when disengaged. Runs on 9-12.6V DC at 120mA (battery for emergencies only, lasting about an hour). The orange metal casing houses T-Rex's premium components for reliability.
