Tremster
Vintage tube amp tremolo with LDR circuit. Mode switch for sine or square wave character.
The Tremster recreates the sound of vintage tube amp tremolo using a light-dependent resistor (LDR) for deep, buttery, seductive modulation. Unlike opto-electronic designs, this approach produces warmer, more organic pulsing.
Depth, Speed, Volume, and Mode controls shape the effect. The Mode switch toggles between aggressive sine-wave modulation (100% depth) and softer square-wave character (80% depth) for less intrusive tremolo. Volume provides unity gain at noon with up to 3dB boost when maxed.
The waveform is soft around peaks but relatively abrupt otherwise, creating a non-obtrusive effect that melts into your playing. A pulsating LED indicates speed. True bypass and 9V operation. Built in Denmark with a 2-year warranty.
