The Viscous Vibe recreates the distinctive wobbling modulation of vintage photocell-based vibe units in a compact pedal with TonePrint customization. The original vibe circuit—made famous by Jimi Hendrix—used a light bulb and photocells to create its unique pulsing modulation, and the Viscous captures that natural character.

Unlike chorus or standard vibrato, vibe effects create a complex interaction between pitch modulation and phase shifting that produces an unmistakable swirling texture. The Viscous offers both Chorus (wet+dry) and Vibrato (wet only) modes to cover classic vibe applications.

TonePrint compatibility expands the options further with artist-designed vibe algorithms and custom creations. True bypass switching ensures clean signal when the effect is off, while the compact housing fits easily on any pedalboard.
