Heavily modified Dallas Rangemaster boost circuit with an internal transformer that simulates optimum pickup impedance at the input, solving the classic Rangemaster problem of needing to be first in the signal chain. NOS germanium transistor hand-soldered.

Boost and Range controls. The Range knob selects the frequency emphasis from bass-heavy through mids to treble boost, far more versatile than the original treble-only Rangemaster. The internal transformer means this germanium boost works anywhere in the pedal chain.
