The Veteran

Dual pedal combining a 1960s-style silicon fuzz circuit with a silicon Rangemaster-style booster. Fuzz runs into the booster with independent footswitches for each section. Six knobs across two independent effects.

Fuzz side: Fuzz, Volume, Smooth (adjusts input impedance for less bass and smoother fuzz texture), and Bias (changes the circuit's operating point for more output and mids). Boost side: Boost amount and Range for frequency selection from bass-heavy through mids to treble boost.

Silicon fuzz plus Rangemaster booster in one enclosure. The boost side of this pedal was later adapted for the WOPR. Smooth and Bias controls provide tonal variation well beyond a standard silicon fuzz. Powder-coated steel enclosure with stainless steel laser-cut center piece. 9V DC.
