Fuzz Haze

ThroBak tackles the biggest problem with vintage germanium Fuzz Faces: inconsistency. The Fuzz Haze recreates the Dallas-Arbiter circuit that Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and David Gilmour made famous, but with socketed transistors and user-adjustable bias and pre-gain trim pots inside. This means you can dial in the perfect amount of fuzz saturation and bass response without hunting for "magic" transistors.

The pre-gain switch lets you toggle between classic Fuzz Face mode and a trimmed operation that works as a more versatile overdrive. True bypass keeps your tone clean when off. While the original Fuzz Face was a gamble—some sounded incredible, others disappointing—every Fuzz Haze is individually tuned to sound cherry-picked. The pedal is now discontinued, making these units increasingly collectible.
