Borealis

Borealis is a Dumble-inspired overdrive built in Porto, Portugal, designed to deliver full and rich harmonic overtones in that classic amp-like territory. The circuit uses switchable clipping modes via an internal switch: MOSFET (stock), silicon pair, or Schottky pair, giving you three distinct saturation characters in one pedal.

Controls include Drive, Volume, Bite (treble shaping), and Filter (bass/midrange). The soft-switch relay bypass system keeps your signal clean when off while drawing just 13mA bypassed, jumping to 60mA when engaged. Top-mounted jacks save pedalboard space.

Handbuilt in Portugal with true bypass relay switching, Borealis covers clean boost through rich medium-high gain overdrive. The internal clipping options let you dial in anything from smooth MOSFET compression to aggressive silicon bite without buying multiple pedals. Dimensions are 127 x 65 x 54mm, powered by standard 9V DC center-negative.
