Room #40 emulates legendary Marshalls using JFET technology: non-master volume Plexi Super Lead (1959/1987) and Super Bass (1992), plus master volume JMP and JCM800 (2203/2204). Circuit selects between PLEXI (circuit 19) and JMP/JCM800 (circuit 22) with famous mods #39 and #34.

Variac voltage control (7.5V to 21V range) mimics Eddie Van Halen's technique for achieving his "brown sound." Classic Marshall 3-band EQ plus versatile Presence control. Gain boost footswitch with dedicated trimmer.
