The Sone Bender is Union Tube & Transistor's take on the classic 1960s fuzz formula, combining the aggressive gain of a Tone Bender with the cleanup characteristics of a Fuzz Face. It's the pedal legends are made of—and nearly impossible to obtain due to its reliance on rare germanium transistors.
Unlike finicky vintage fuzzes, the Sone Bender has been designed to play nice with daisy-chain power supplies and is louder than its inspirations. However, like all germanium circuits, it's happiest placed before buffered pedals in your signal chain.
Each Sone Bender is handbuilt in Vancouver with carefully selected 'unobtanium' transistors, making it a true collector's piece as much as a working musician's tool.
