The Steel String Supreme is Vertex's flagship drive, a 100% analog solid-state preamplifier that doubles as a standalone preamp.

Dual-channel design with six knobs: Output, Fat, Clean, Level, Filter, and Gain. A 3-way Bright/Deep switch adjusts the high-frequency character, and a 3-way Jazz/Rock switch shapes the midrange curve. Two footswitches let you use each channel independently or stack them together. An independent EQ section gives more tonal control than the standard Steel String.

Compatible with tube amps, cab sims, and IR loaders for direct recording. True bypass (mechanical). Input impedance 2.2M ohm, output impedance 10k ohm. 8.0-9.6V DC (9.8V max), approximately 20mA. 4.6 x 3.2 x 1.8 inches.
