The V4 The Kraken Preamp is an award-winning, all-valve pedal preamp developed with Rabea Massaad. Equipped with four tubes (3x CV4014 and 1x EC900) running at high plate voltage, it delivers the touch sensitivity and harmonic complexity that only a genuine tube preamp can provide.
Two gain modes offer distinct voicings: Gain Mode I exemplifies classic British-style friendly mids for rock and traditional metal, while Gain Mode II provides tighter, more grinding American-style midrange for aggressive modern metal. Both modes maintain exceptional clarity even at maximum gain.
The Kraken Preamp can run into your amp's effects loop, through the front end, or direct into a recording interface. This is genuine high-gain tube tone in a pedalboard-friendly format.
