Ultrasheer
Stereo reverb and vibrato inspired by late 1970s digital studio effects. Walnut enclosure, 32-bit DSP, 180mA.
The Vongon Ultrasheer is a stereo reverb and pitch vibrato pedal inspired by early digital studio effects units of the late 1970s. The pedal features 32-bit floating point DSP (except for a 16-bit vintage reverb algorithm) with 24-bit/48kHz digital converters, delivering professional-grade digital processing with period-appropriate character.
A simple toggle switch allows routing changes—vibrato into reverb or reverb into vibrato—for different sonic textures. The pedal automatically selects stereo or mono modes based on cables plugged in, with analog buffered bypass and soft-touch footswitches. Genuine Rogan knobs made in USA provide tactile control. Input impedance is 53K ohms with 40 ohms output impedance.
Housed in a single block of dark walnut measuring 6.5" x 5.5" x 2.25" with a matte black aluminum faceplate and gold traces, the Ultrasheer runs on 9VDC center-negative power at 180mA. Protected against reversed polarity and overvoltage, it combines vintage digital inspiration with modern reliability.
