Contraband

The Contraband is a deceptively simple fuzz—just one knob—that delivers aggressive, metallic walls of sound. The single output control acts as both gain and volume, producing increasingly loud and aggressive fuzz as you turn it up.

The Thick/Thin toggle adjusts bass frequencies entering the circuit. Thick mode suits single-coils, while Thin mode tames humbuckers. A built-in gate creates choked, dying-battery sounds when you roll down your guitar's volume knob.

The Contraband works well for guitar, bass, and analog synths thanks to its compact size and versatile voicing. Place it before buffers for full-bodied tone; after buffers it becomes more acidic and trebly. Stacks well with overdrives for high-gain textures. The gold-sparkle enclosure features original smuggler artwork.
