Atreides
Analog Weirding Module with envelope filter, fuzz, phaser, and sub-octave. Slider controls.
The Atreides Analog Weirding Module delivers a kaleidoscope of organic synth-like tones combining envelope filter, fuzz, phaser, and sub-octave effects. Named after David Lynch's Dune adaptation, it was inspired by the 1980 EHX Mini Synthesizer.
Seven illuminated sliders control Volume, Sens and Range (envelope), Bright, Fuzz, Rate (phaser), and Sub octave. Internal controls set Sub to one or two octaves down and adjust phaser feedback. No null position exists—even with just Volume up, you get basic distortion.
The pedal is monophonic like most guitar synths, requiring adjusted playing technique. It excels as a fantastic fuzz, earth-shaking sub-octave, and idiosyncratic phaser/envelope filter—all recombined via intuitive sliders.
