Doom Hammer
Op-amp fuzz based on 1978 circuit mod for the band Oranger. Tight low end.
The Doom Hammer began in 1998 when Jeorge Tripps modified a 1978 op-amp fuzz circuit for the band Oranger. Based on a late '70s Electro-Harmonix op-amp Big Muff, it offers a controlled, defined low-end response.
Output, Tone, and Fuzz dials tailor the velvety harmonics to your rig. The op-amp circuit delivers wide-sweeping distortion from light crunch to full wall of fuzz with less pronounced scoop and tighter low end than typical Big Muffs.
Prized for thick yet controlled saturation and playback uniformity, the Doom Hammer delivers dense walls of fuzz straight from a '90s fever dream. True bypass with blue LED indicator. $169.99 street price.
