Modded Tube Screamer-style overdrive with 100Hz and Curve EQ controls.
The Green Rhino MkII is Way Huge's enhanced take on the classic Tube Screamer circuit, adding EQ flexibility that addresses the original's limitations. Introduced in 1994, it helped define the boutique overdrive movement.
Beyond standard Volume, Tone, and Drive controls, the 100Hz knob provides 12dB of boost or cut at 100Hz—addressing the traditional Tube Screamer's lack of bass response. The Curve control cuts frequencies above 1kHz within the clipping stage, regulating mid-frequency emphasis.
The result is a Tube Screamer-style drive with more clarity, low end, and bite. More gain and tonal range than the original while maintaining that signature mid-focused character. True bypass switching.
