The Bastard delivers dynamic medium to high-gain distortion built for modern music styles. Its complex multi-stage amplifier circuit maintains transparency and touch response even at extreme settings. The active 3-band EQ enables classic mid-scooped metal tones, while the voice toggle switches between two distinct voicings with varying presence in the mids and highs.

Controls include Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Level, and the voice switch. Running on 9-18V DC at just 14mA, the pedal offers increased headroom when powered at 18V. The EQ section provides powerful tone-shaping that can dial in everything from aggressive modern distortion to transparent amp-like overdrive.
