Plexface
Dual-channel amp emulator combining '59 Plexi and '65 Blackface—two independent FET-based overdrives stackable in series.
Weehbo began crafting pedals in Hannover, Germany in 2008, focusing on amp-inspired drives and distortions with vintage character and modern flexibility. Their in-house manufacturing emphasizes authentic analog tone with practical features for working players.
The Plexface combines two legendary amplifier designs in one pedal: a Marshall 1959 Plexi channel and a mid-1960s Blackface channel. Both use field-effect transistors to recreate tube amp characteristics. The channels operate independently or stack together with the Plexi feeding into the Blackface, creating complex gain-staging possibilities.
The Blackface channel features Bass, Treble, Volume controls plus mode switches ('65/'57 for Blackface/Tweed) and Shape (flat or pushed mids/lows). The Plexi channel offers Drive, Tone, Level controls with '59/'87 mode selection (JTM/JMP). Internal trimmer resistors and jumpers enable fine-tuning. Running on 9V DC at just 5mA (12mA at 18V), the Plexface delivers two classic amp voices in a single enclosure. True bypass on both channels.
