The Grease Juicer is session drummer Curt Bisquera's signature pedal, combining fuzz and envelope filtering in a single all-analog signal chain: buffer, splitter, fuzz, then envelope filter with sidechain. Designed to replace 2-3 separate pedals, it delivers everything from clean quacky filter tones to full fuzz-saturated funk textures.
The pedal features five controls: Sense (sensitivity), Juice (resonance), Volume, plus mini knobs for Sizzle (gating effect) and Grease (fuzz amount). Available in two versions—guitar (orange LED) and bass (green LED)—each voiced specifically for its instrument. The fuzz can be disengaged entirely for clean envelope filtering, or cranked for aggressive filtered grit.
Built to handle massive dynamic range, the Grease Juicer responds equally well to quiet single-coil pickups and hot active bass electronics. Beyond guitar and bass, it excels on synths, electric piano, and clavinet, offering vintage-style envelope filtering with optional fuzz saturation for modern funk, R&B, and studio session work.
